Liam was just leaving the cemetary when a blue flash
and a sub-woofer like sound made him turn back towards the gate
and into the graveyard.
He ran over as fast as possible;
ready to strike down whatever demon had come through
when he stopped above the woman who exited instead.
Buffy landed flat on her back, eyes closing tightly from impact.
She wondered why she landed so hard this time.
She opened her eyes and saw “Angel” standing above her.
‘Huh…?’
He smirked that same Angel smirk
and yet there was something different about him.
Turns out that a lot more is different,
/More than meets the eye, eh, Buff?\
She could almost hear Xander now. Then she realized her handsome hero was talking
and she was missing out on the goods.
“I said, You must have hit your head harder than you think.
I’m not an angel, kiddo, I’m a man.
Name’s Liam and you would be..hmm, let me guess.”
And my handsome hero pauses dramatically and I actually start feeling wiggy.
“Oh kay, either you’re gonna help me up, tell you know me
or you’re gonna move so I can get up
and ..stop giving me the wiggins.”
‘Wow I talk way too much sometimes.’ My hero actually laughed. *sigh* I’m probably all blushy
and really unattractive, I find I could care less.
I really enjoy his laugh. It’s amazing.
He gave me his hand and when I took it, I couldn’t help but notice how warm he was. WOW. Deep breath and another dramatic pause. Angel with a pulse, now that’s new.
“An.. Liam, um I thnk I may have..”
Dizzy, yep, gonna go all swoony on the Angel look alike.
“Stood.. up.. too..” and my world went gray.
Liam caught Buffy before she fell over and hurt herself worse.
He retraced his steps out of the cemetery to his car.
He laid her in the back seat of the car and paused, his memories unraveling.

When I saw Buffy,
well I didn’t know it was her at first.
Once I realized it was her, I don’t know…something in me snapped.
Doyle, Cordelia, Wes, Fred, Gunn- they were gone. Kate,Gwen, Nina, Connor, Spike, Illyria and myself had lasted.
I needed to get away from them, from L.A.
Spike and Illyria stepped out again once things were mildly cleaned up.
Lorne is happy in Silver Lake.
Connor is back in school.
Kate is trying to get the police force back up, mostly for the demon side of things.
She said she’s seen too many things that go bump in an afternoon.
Gwen is still the same.
Nina has mastered the wolf.
Me? Well I’m looking down at the love of my life wondering if she’s gonna wake up
or if I have to get her to a hospital.
So I get this call on my cell..
(I didn’t recognize the number, wasn’t going to answer it.)
I answered it. It’s Dawn, she says Buffy is missing.
I ask how long and she says four months.
She quickly explain in my silence that Buffy likes taking small trips for awhile a at a time. She usually finds a way to make contact,
but they still hadn’t heard anything.
We searched all around the world.
We should have searched out of this world too.
Buffy ( I was told two years later) gets a thrill out of portal hopping
and exploring other dimensions..foolish girl! and foolish friends.
Haven’t we all learned one way or another how dangerous other dimensions can be
or how dangerous just opening a damn portal can be?
Five and half years later and Buffy is once again birthed back into the world via portal.
Only things aren’t the way she will remember. I finally get my shanshu right?
I’m completely human, and Buffy disappears. Go figure.
Nothing ever turns out the way you want it to.
Anyway I digress. Sunnydale has been rebuilt. No Hellmouth.
So what was I doing in the cemetery?
Well in Spike’s words,”Baddies are still around, Luv.”
and I’m still trying to keep the demon population down every once in awhile.
Things aren’t always what they appear to be.
I’m not the same and I got to say, plenty of surprises in store.
Anyway, about Sunnydale-Street names are exactly the same.
Houses are different. I could have chose to live on Crawford street but honestly I really don’t have many good memories there.
Not like I have good memories of Revello Drive either but Buffy had good memories there, they outweighed the bad, I think.
It’s like bizarre-o world here. The homes are found alphabetically owned,
so I when I learned that Revello Drive were home with the letter S;
I decided nostalgically that I had to live here. Liam Summers.
Yes, I know, it’s her last name but you see “Ta mo chroi istigh inti.”
I love her. So why wouldn’t I take her last name?
Oh, I think Buffy’s coming around, you know, waking up.
